Youth Home, Inc
Youth Home: Structured Residential Treatment for Teens
Youth Home is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) serving youth ages 12–17 with trauma-informed residential care. Our goal is to make healing possible for every teen who is struggling by providing a comprehensive, therapeutic environment focused on long-term stability.
Key Program Pillars
- Therapeutic Services: At least 2 individual therapy sessions and weekly family therapy sessions (daily family calls encouraged). Includes specialty groups like Trauma Yoga, Drug & Alcohol, and Safe Solutions.
- Academic Instruction: Education provided by licensed teachers and special education–certified instructors ensures academic progress continues seamlessly during treatment.
- Recreational Therapy: Led by certified professionals, groups focus on self-expression, connection, and wellness, including Pet Therapy, Drama, Dance/Movement, and a Low-Challenge Ropes Course.
- Life Skills & Community: Teens participate in daily life skills practice, chores, and volunteer opportunities (e.g., Virtual VA Partnership, Arkansas Food Bank) to develop confidence and community integration.
