South Carolina School of Welding

We are a self-paced vocational school for welding. Our main program, Welding 101, teaches all the basics of stick (SMAW), tig (GTAW) and mig (GMAW) in about 6 months. Students come to class twice a week for 2 four hour blocks. Right now we have classes on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday nights from 6pm-10, but we sometimes have a day class on Monday-Wednesday from 10am-2pm. Since we are self-paced we don't have a class start date, so you don't have to wait as long to get started as with traditional schools! We start people as we get openings. We have a few options for financial aid. We are licensed in both GA and SC so our students can get WIOA/Works grants as those go based on where the student lives, and we are right on the border in Beech Island, SC. We are not federally funded or eligible for the GI bill at this time. We do also work with a company, Mia-Share, to offer income share agreements and payment plans if the student doesn't qualify for the grants. The current price for Welding 101 is $15K and we do offer a discount for military personnel past and present.
