Over many years as a former certified ophthalmic technician and as a patient myself in the greater Las Vegas area, I’ve met my share of ophthalmologists and have had the opportunity to compare one practice to the next. A lot has changed, and the changes have, for the most part, improved patient care.

One criticism I have is the introduction of kiosks for patient check in. For those of us capable of seeing and understanding the process, it’s great, but I notice that some patients struggle. Additionally, I don’t see a benefit to the patient portal since nothing from patient exams is available to read or print.

I want to thank the visual field technician, Lorraine, for her care. She explained the test in an easy to understand manner, and made certain I was seated comfortably.

I would also like to thank Laura. She was efficient and took care to ease any anxiety I may have been experiencing while she performed tests pertinent to my diagnosis.

Dr. Ravi Reddy is thorough and answers questions in layman’s terms which encourages compliance and the need for follow up care. I didn’t feel like he was in a hurry, even though he could have been.

Probably the best run doctor's office I've ever been in. Fast and easy check in, appointment time is held to ( no long wait). Dr Cruvant was very thorough, helpful, and nice. I have been dealing with an eye irritation for weeks and am already feeling better just a day after starting the drops she prescribed. Very professional staff and a big beautiful office. Would definitely recommend !

I have been going to Shepherd Eye for the past 20 years. I even had Dr. Shepherd once examined my eyes. I have never had a problem no matter what office I went to then I pushy. Do you need something that will help you I never had a problem getting an appointment they’re very good about you calling them back even if it’s every day to see if you could move your appointment up, I would recommend them very very highly .

I was very pleased with the easy check in process at the self check in system.  The staff was overly professional and caring.  Dr. Taylor gave me much comfort after viewing my pictures and examining me that all was well.  My vision was great!  I went in with concerns but he cleared them all up for me by giving me clear answers.
