We are committed to growth through discipleship, worship Christian education, fellowship, and service through missions. Shalimar UMC is beautifully blended in worship style with both traditional and contemporary worship services. Our church is located on a corner of Eglin Parkway in the heart of the Fort Walton Beach, Shalimar, and Eglin Air Force Base communities. We are still a rather young church founded in 1951. Since that time, we've grown and matured to around 2000 members. You are invited to try any of our worship services we have on Sunday mornings: 8, 9:30, 11, and 11:07 MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of Shalimar United Methodist Church is to REACH, TEACH, and SEND. We REACH out to our congregation, community, and the world to TEACH the word of God as provided in the Holy Scripture, and SEND our members and missionaries to be witnesses to God’s grace and His promise of eternal life to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
