Welcome to Insight Solutions Counseling. Insight Solutions Counseling is a solo owned private practice. I am conveniently located in Layton, Ut. just minutes from the South Gate of Hill Air Force base. I believe people are more than a diagnosis. I look at the whole person and develop a treatment approach that incorporates the uniqueness of each individual and their life situation. My purpose is, through care and compassion, to add value, hope, and healing to the lives of adults, children, teens, couples, and families. My specialties include Addictions (including drug and alcohol, pornography, and sex addictions), mood and personality disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma and PTSD. I have several sub-specialties that I treat; however, I do not specialize in them. My counseling services amplify and hone the worth, strengths and resources of all I serve. My goal is to help you know your own unique worth at a deep level, to cultivate your potential and activate your inner resiliency, to provide skills for getting unstuck and coping with negative symptoms such as depression and anxiety, and to help you live according to your core values and needs. I take an approach that People can - and do - overcome the obstacles that confront them. At Insight Solutions Counseling you will come to believe that regardless of your life situation or experiences, you were born with unique potential and the capacity to grow, heal and change. Counseling can facilitate transformational change and growth. I teach that we all have unique gifts that we bring to the world and everyone benefits when we can express these gifts authentically and share them with others. It is my belief that life hands us obstacles and the process of dealing with them seems difficult, overwhelming, and sometimes scary. Dealing with the trauma of our childhood, any assault, unforeseen experience, or experiences that you may have been forced into. I work with my clients to help them develop mechanisms, skills, and habits to overcome these challenges. As I work together with my clients, I help them find the skills to help them manage the most difficult of life circumstances, provide them with the necessary strategies to help them prepare their life in the future, and provide them with relief from the suffering they have been experiencing.
