My fiancé and I have been looking at a bunch of apartments in the Colorado Springs area and we’re in disbelief when we found these apartments simply based off of the price. We had read some of the reviews on here before arriving and were shocked with how unfair some of these reviews seemed. For anyone who has lived in the Colorado Springs area, they could probably attest to the fact that not a single apartment complex is on top of it 24/7, but we were already surprised with the fact that the leasing office had responded to any and all of our questions within a timely manner. With all of this in mind we showed up to the viewing of possible apartments. When we arrived we were greeted by Nathan Andreas who took the time to explain the whole process of applying and streamlined it for us which we were pleasantly surprised by. He then ensured that all of our questions were answered before showing us around the complex. I had read previously that the apartments weren’t clean and not taken care of but we’re shocked by how wrong those claims seemed to be. Nathan was amazing when it came to customer service and just his attentiveness towards our concerns which put our mind at ease.

When it comes to the amenities there are some you will never find in the COS area, from a salt water pool to a business room and even a massive gym with almost anything you would need for a good workout we were already willing to take the chance since these are all things you won’t find in the southern Colorado Springs area.

We are looking forward to moving in and starting a new chapter in our life.

I lived at Crowne At Briargate for 3 years, after moving to Colorado Springs from Florida. From the time I moved in to the time I moved out(3 years later), my wife and I loved our home there in Crowne At Briargate. We had the blessed opportunity to live in 3 different styled apartments(a 1,2,and 3) bedroom. Each of which had a beautiful electric fire place, and we were able to mount our TV above it. The lay out was 2nd to none. The pool and grounds were always kept so beautifully, and the office staff of Tenieka, Rachel, and Ray were truly amazing!! This staff took such great care of us the entire 3 years of our making Crowne At Briargate our home. They were always so helpful and accommodating. I never once was turned away from them or by them when I needed help with anything, like: sending faxes, or emails, scanning documents, or things that were needed for the apartment, they stayed right on top of everything. God truly sent my wife and I there and I would highly recommend Crowne At Briargate to anyone to call it home. Thank You Crowne Staff for making my first experience in Colorado so amazing. I will never forget any of you. God bless!

Moved here about a year and some change ago. I’ll give you my honest opinion.

Leasing staff is decent however they could improve on communication. There have been times where I’ve called and went to voicemail.

There’s a couple amenities that can be used (key fob required) i.e. heated swimming pool, dog wash center, grilling areas, club house, gym. *In my opinion the pool is small*

Down to the pros and cons about Crowne

Pros: Granite Countertops, goose nozzle sink (kitchen), fireplace, kitchen island, stainless steel appliances, and a decent view depending on what building you’re in.

Cons: Walls are thin (I could hear my neighbors coughing), closets are small, the VALET TRASH is never accommodating/ always late but is always quick to write a message about trash it’s mandatory that you have to pay for it. The breeze ways smell funky, there’s a strong odor of urine/ feces because no one knows how to pick up after their dogs. Attached/detached garages are expensive. Not willing to accommodate with price changes that they have posted on their website when you have a lease renewal. Elevators may or may not work during the summer (beware).

Last but not least on my cons is about my deposit and the carpets! It seems to be a reoccurring issue at the Crowne at Briargate. I left two weeks prior to my lease end. I was confident that I would get a portion of my deposit back but I’ve been told I’m not (very unsettling)because there was a “stain” in the carpet that they claimed they would get someone to go over there and get out. They ended up replacing the whole carpet in the unit. Not only that, I called about week ago to see if they had any updates because if that was the case they should’ve called me and I would’ve had my wife run over there to clean it and remove the stain.

Lack of communication is what drove me to not renew at the Crowne at Briargate.

Also there’s apartments across from Target (Aliso/ Vue 21) that have more amenities and a better set up/staff. Not to bang on the employees too much but I’m going to be real about it. They seem to be understaffed and they sometimes overdeliver and underpromise. I as a renter cannot/will not tolerate that.

Hope you make a mindful decision before committing.

Moved in on Saturday and they made the process so easy.  Crowne had 2 moving carts(like they have at hotels) to help and we were able to leave all our moving boxes outside our door and they came and took them to the dumpster for us.  The apartments are absolutely beautiful and the staff has been so nice and helpful.  Crowne at Briargate is a beautiful place to call home!

MILITARY, DO NOT MOVE HERE! If I could leave ZERO stars I would! We lived here from July 22-April 23. We initially paid a $945 deposit. We cleaned the apartment TOO TO BOTTOM with no stains in the carpet. Basically like new. We then received an invoice for $350 — 6 WEEKS later! (Included are photos taken after mice out that Rachel Davis deemed “Filthy and Dirty”

I’ll add we are being charged for replacing carpet that was —according to Crowne, there since 16 months prior to our move in.
