Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle is a 323-bed acute care hospital located in Columbus, Mississippi. It is the largest entity hospital in the Baptist Memorial Health Care system. It has been caring for residents of the East Mississippi and West Alabama area for more than 45 years. With more than 100 physicians and surgeons representing nearly every medical specialty, we provide a full range of comprehensive medical services. We strive to provide high-quality health care services and emphasize patient safety. We are currently the one of three hospitals in the Southeast and one of only 20 hospitals in the United States to have received a 'Straight A' grade for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit health care ratings organization, since the group began awarding the safety ratings in 2012. In 2014 Baptist Golden Triangle received the Hospital of the Year award (100 beds or more) from the Mississippi Nurses Association and in 2013 was the only hospital in Mississippi to receive the VHA Leadership for Clinical Excellence award for achieving national performance standards in clinical quality, safety and patient experience.
