Amplify Credit Union combines digital-first financial services with the emphasis on community you expect from your neighborhood credit union. We are a member-owned financial cooperative with more than 50,000 members. In 1967, ten Austin-based IBM employees pooled their resources to form an employee credit union. Our team lives and works in the communities we serve, making us the foremost experts on how our members can achieve their personal and professional financial goals in Central Texas. Amplify Credit Union is owned and controlled by its members. Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Texas is eligible to join the credit union and maintain their membership, no matter where life takes them. And as our members move through life, we are there to provide them with the financial services – home mortgages, commercial loans, wealth management services, and more – to take that next step in life. In keeping with our roots in the technology industry, we offer a variety of innovative products and services to help our members meet their financial goals. From our mobile-first banking experience to our mortgage and commercial loan services, we are constantly evolving as a financial institution to ensure that our members have everything they need to pursue their dreams. As a Texas-based credit union, our members are more than just our customers. They are our neighbors, our friends, and our families. Amplify employees volunteered 1,753 hours in the Central Texas community in 2022, benefiting organizations like the American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, and Caritas of Austin. Our Safe Place to Call Home initiative is also dedicated to finding safe and affordable housing for families affected by natural disasters, domestic violence, or sudden illness.
